William "Bill" Waldo, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025, at the age of 82. Bill was born on July 4, 1943, and dedicated many years of his life to his career at Ross Laboratories/Abbott Nutrition before retiring.
Bill was known for his friendly and kind demeanor. He had a special knack for making everyone feel appreciated, always thanking those around him. He had a passion for cooking, often considering himself a chef. Bill loved going fishing daily with his best friend George. Animals held a tender place in his heart, especially cats, whom he adored. He was also a huge sports fan who enjoyed watching various sports, especially WWE, football, and Nascar.
Bill's family was his greatest source of pride, and he cherished the life he created with Tina, his wife of 63 years. Together, they raised a wonderful family that remained a solid support for one another. He is survived by his daughter, Trina (Mark) Everts, and his grandson, Aaron (Megan) Everts, who took care of him lovingly and made sure he was comfortable until the very end. Bill is preceded in death by his, father, Wayne Waldo, mother, Mary Waldo, as well as his son, Chris Waldo, and his beloved wife, Tina Waldo, leaving behind fond memories in the hearts of all who knew them.
Bill will be remembered for his kindness, friendly demeanor, and love of family. His spirit lives on through the bonds he created and the lives he touched.
The family will be having private services at Newcomer Funeral Home on November 24, 2025, before laying him to rest at Obetz Cemetery.
