William Edward Helms

William Edward Helms, also known as Buckeye Bill, 77, of Grove City, passed away on August 12, 2026. He was born in Columbus on May 8, 1949, to the late Orville and Mary Helms. He married Linda Roark, and she preceded him in death in June of 2025.Those left to cherish memories of Bill include son, Jacob (Tera) Helms; daughter, Diane (Marcus) Boyle; grandchildren, Mira, Eden, Matthan, Eva, and Nova; family members and extended family.

Immediate family will greet friends and family from 10am to 12noon, Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions - Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, 43123. A service to honor Bill's life will be held at 12 noon, Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Newcomer Southwest, Grove City. Burial to follow at Grove City Cemetery.
