William Lee Howison, 80, born in Richwood, OH, passed away March 11, 2017. He was preceded in death by parents, Marion "Mike" and Louise Howison.
Bill is survived by wife of 51 years, Barbara; sister, Sharon (Sujit) Chatterji; twin nephews, S. Keith (Suzanne) and S. Kent (Tamanna) Chatterji; great-niece, Anna; great-nephews, Owen, Aidan, and Kamran; special friends, Jan and Bill Bailey, Rick Eckert, and Malia Steele; and several cousins.
Bill was an avid historian of early Ohio history, including the Woodland Indian tribes, Darby Creek, and southwest Franklin County local history. Bill was one of the founding members of the Southwest Franklin County Historical Society. He had lots of life experiences as a surgical nurse, private detective, polygraph examiner and security officer to use for storytelling. He retired from Ohio Polychem in 2013, but he was most proud of working as a private detective and polygraph examiner at National Detective Bureau. Bill was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Grove City.
Celebration of Life Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 11am with gathering one hour prior at Trinity United Methodist Church, 4850 Haughn Rd., Grove City, OH 43123. Pastor Caleb Speicher to officiate.
