He now waits in our Lords Heavenly Glory with his parents William T. Mattison Sr (Tuskegee Airman), P. Janet Mattison, & grandson Christian Wright, for his wife and those he is lovingly survived by; Sister, Yvonne Mattison of White Plains MD, Daughter, Trina Davis(Ben), Son, Charles Humphrey(Evelina) of Hampton VA, Daughter, Tracy King(Rodney), Nephew, David Millard(Tangy) La Plata MD, Daughter, Darlene Greenwood(Robert). Bill also has 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of wonderful friends who mean so very much to him and his family.

Bill was born in Washington DC. He graduated from Marion Franklin High School, in Columbus Ohio and attended Wilberforce University and subsequently graduated from DeVry University. This began his career at QUBE TV, the first Interactive, highly sophisticated cable communication system in 1977, only servicing Columbus Ohio in test trials and later grew to become Time Warner Communications. This began his nearly 40year career of building & installing cable & computer engineering systems. He was there from the beginning, playing an integral part in cable tv becoming what it is today. After retirement he enjoyed hobbies like playing computer games battling against live opponents, repairing & building computers; but most of all he loved to go the field and fly his radio controlled airplanes and drones which he built. He was a member of Columbus Aero Club. During his time there, he created videos of all the flying that took place that day, putting them to music. He also worked on repairing computers for friends and family members in Columbus and others remotely using Team Viewer.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill's memory to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10004.
