William Mcwhorter

William (Bill) McWhorter, age 69, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, September 27, 2018 with his wife, children and grandchildren by his side. He was born in Orient, OH on April 11, 1949 to Walter and Shirley (Clark) McWhorter.

Bill loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and enjoyed going to the Casino with his wife, Robin. He also enjoyed spending time with his co-workers and special longtime friends, Dave Kiser, Olin Diggers, Henry & Rose Urfer along with too many others to mention. Bill loved his family and always told them so. The family would like give a special thanks to Strawser Construction and the crew he worked with, he loved spending his summers with them and going to work everyday.

Bill was preceded in death by his father Walter and mother Shirley (Clark) McWhorter, and a sister Liz (McWhorter) Fleming and nephew Jimmy Wallace.

Bill is survived by his wife of 40 years Robin (Muncy) McWhorter, a brother Walter (Bub) McWhorter, Sons; Brian, Billy (Monique), Bobby and Jeffery Tisdale. Daughters; Tara (Jay) Grise, Lisa (Michael) Lautermilch and Belinda Greeno.

Grandchildren: Cierra, Kylie, Jaycee, Little Bill, Heather, Brittani, Courtney, Brooke, David, Kevin, Glen and Aaron. A special little buddy (great granddaughter) Briella, along with several other great grand children, nieces and nephews. He was very happy to be reunited with his daughters, Belinda and Lisa and a son, Jeffery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm, Monday, October 1, 2018 and also from 12-1pm, Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home, S.W. Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. 43123 where the funeral service will be held at 1pm, Tuesday, October 2, 2018. Interment will follow at Grove City Cemetery.
