William O. Righter

William O. Righter Jr. 88 of Columbus passed on June 7, 2015. He was born May 31, 1927 in Columbus to William and Julia Righter Sr. who preceded him in death. He was also preceded by a daughter Elise; sisters LuVerna Price, Lillian Hale; and son in law Kevin Glass. He was married to Ada Righter for 62 years and she survives. Also surviving are daughters Melanie Righter-Glass, Jeanne (Jim) Maynard, Melinda (John) Thompson, Melissa (Mike) Malone; sister Wilma "Bobbie" Clark; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was a retired fiscal officer for the State of Ohio and Westinghouse Corp. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, Scottish Rite, member of Mt.Gilead Lodge 206, Hilltop Shrine, Blue Honor Key and Cross of Honor member of the Order of Demolay.

Visitation will be held 5 to 8PM Thursday June 11 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW, 3393 Broadway Grove City, OH 43123 - where funeral services will be held at 1PM on Friday June 12, burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
