William R. "Bill" Remali (Remaly), age 76, passed away on April 3, 2018. He was born on March 1, 1942 in Columbus, OH to the late Elmer and Lucille Remaly.
Bill's passion at a young age until he retired was the ownership and operations of numerous pizza shop businesses. At age 17, he opened his first pizza shop in West Jefferson and many more throughout Columbus and surrounding areas for more than 40 years.
Bill had a huge passion for music and baseball, but his greatest love was his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Lucille Remaly; his beloved Aunt Irene and Uncle Harry Bryant; first wife, Judith Marie; second wife, Laura Ann; son-in-law, Roger Jeffers; dear friends, Jack Godfrey and Roger Rutherford.
Surviving family includes sister, Lynda Cardwell; children, Joni Evans, Darlene Jeffers, Linda (Bud) McDaniels, Billy (Pam) Remali, Toni (Ray) Hill, Angel, Melissa and Rachel Wolfe; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins and nieces.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Grove City, 3393 Broadway, where visitation will be held 2 hours prior to service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bill's name to Nationwide Children's Hospital by visiting www.nationwidechildrens.org/giving.
