William E. Steele Sr.

William E. Steele, 74, passed away on October 7, 2020. He was born on July 3, 1946 to parents Chester R. Steele and Virginia R. (Williams) Steele. William gave his heart and life to the Lord Jesus in 1980. He loved studying the word of God, he taught the word of God in Church, he was a teacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He was a professional tractor trailer driver for over 30 years. He retired in July 2006. He sold cars for Krieger Lincoln Mercury 5 years. Then worked for Kreiger Ford 4 years where he retired in December 2015. He enjoyed watching The Ohio State Buckeyes with family and friends. His family came first in his life. He will be deeply missed by the love of his life Donna (Musser) of 56 years, children Angela (Kevin) Butler, Robin Mullins, Jenny (Jerry) Conners, William (Angela) Steele Jr., grandchildren Michael Moore, Brianna Hunt, Brittany George, Matthew Butler, Jacob Little, Annie Steele, Christian Steele, 8 great-grandchildren, siblings Robert C. Steele, Rita R. Staten, Karen S. Monroe, Gary N. Steele, Virginia "Pam" Crabtree along with many other family and friends. William is preceded in death by his parents, sister Judith A. Whitaker and grandson Kevin A. Moore. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 13, 2020 from 6pm to 8pm at Newcomer SW Chapel 3393 Broadway, Grove City. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will be at Grove City Cemetery.
