William Washington Jr., age 46, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015 in Columbus, OH. Will was born on August 24, 1968 in Indianapolis, IN to William G. Washington Sr. and Wanda J. Gill.
Will is preceded in death by his mother; his grandmothers, aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his father, William G. (Louise) Washington Sr.; wife, April Washington; children, Latisha Washington, Latrisha Washington, Lasondra Washington, and William G. Washington III; grandchild Zaniah Washington; siblings, Padena (Allen) Langford, Theresa Washington, Keith Gill, Mercia Washington, David (Rodessa) Turner, Tammey (Brian) Washington, Melvin Gill, Cynthia Ford, Anthony (Sebell) Minney, and Coretta (Vincent) Howard; best friend, Carl Peay; a host of nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members and friends.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231. He will be taken to his hometown of Indianapolis, IN where they will have a visitation on Friday, February 27, 2015 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Grace Memorial Baptist Church, 3019 N. Lasalle St. Indianapolis, IN 46218 followed by funeral services at 1:00pm. He will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery.
