William Wolfe III, 70, passed away peacefully, after a year long battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family on July 26, 2025. He was preceded in death by parents, Virginia and William J. Wolfe; daughter, Tamie Wolfe; and brother, Ed Wolfe. Bill is survived by loving wife of almost 52 years, Janet Wolfe; children, Rob (Tara), Stephen, and Amanda Wolfe; grandchildren, Stephanie (Josh) Valentine, Katie (Travis Burson) Wolfe, Austin Wolfe, Robby Wolfe,Willa Wolfe, Haylee (Phil Bibbey) Wolfe, Billy (Jenna) Wolfe, Alyssa Wolfe, Zack Maynard, Makayla Wolfe, and DJ Wolfe; great-grandchildren, Tanner, Holland, Remi, Hadley, Addy, Xavier, Asher, and Kinslee; siblings, Rick Wolfe, Terri Wolfe, and Jenny (Rob) Robinett; sister-in-law, Mary Wolfe; furry companions, Wolfie and Buddy; many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
Retired from the United States Postal Service after over 30 years of service. Long time member of St. Agnes Church. Bill enjoyed sports and participated in wheelchair basketball and wheelchair softball. He will be remembered for his generous, supportive, and loving nature. Bill opened his home and heart to those who needed it.
Visitation Sunday, August 3, 2025 from 4-8pm with a prayer service at 7:30pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Mass Monday, August 4, 2025 at 11am at Our Mother Of Sorrows Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH.
