Willighby James White (Jay) Nov 18, 1935 - July 4, 2016 Jay White, 80, passed away peacefully at home on July 4th after a long and courageous battle with Lewy-Body Disease. Jay was born November 18,1935 in Leggett Texas and served in the Army after graduating from Westerville high school in Houston. Jay was one of the few lucky enlisted men to be stationed at Fort Schefield as part of the Med Co 14th Infantry Regiment in Honolulu, HI. After completing his military service Jay became a "Bud Man" spending more than 30 years brewing beer for Anheuser-Busch in Texas, New Hampshire and Ohio picking up a marketing degree along the way at Franklin University in 1985. After retiring as a brewmaster Jay took his passion for brewing on the road working as a consultant for the Budweiser mobile beer school, teaching wholesalers, retailers, and consumers about the history of Anheuser-Busch and it's brewing process. Jays wit and humor made him a natural on the golf course in the club house and in the classroom making a difference with everyone he met. Jay was a member of the Howard Methodist Church, Howard, OH and attended Grace Brethren Church, Columbus, OH. Preceded in death by parents Sam Donohoe White and Loree Cummings Jenkins: brother Sam White, sister Merlene Lawrence. Survived by his caring wife Mary Jane: brother James Howard, his daughters Annette Brown and Kim D'Andrea and their husbands Bill and Albert, stepdaughter Julie Speer his son Stephen and wife Lisa, his stepson Mike Rannebarger and his wife Heather, 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a large network of extended family and devoted friends.
