Wilma Jean Dudley, 72, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away December 23, 2019. She was born on March 15, 1947 to the late Raymond and Esta Moore.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Alvin E. Dudley; son, David Dudley; nephew, Chucky Maynard; brothers, Vernon and James Welch.
Surviving family includes daughters, Robbin Dudley, Amy and Danny Lang, Bridget and Chuck Maynard; grandchildren, Rebecca, Aimee, Brianna, Joshua, Mystee, DJ, Dustin, Blake, Joey, Torii, Rio, TJ, Jeffrey, Kalani, Santana ; great grandchildren, Lucas, Peyton, Sophia, Eliana, Vivi, Savvy, Paxton, Colton, Gabe, Damian, Kaydin, Asher ; special sidekick, Marcia Campbell; sisters, Sheila Stewart, Virginia North; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Wilma had the greatest love for her family and a great love for Nashville! She loved to hear her grandchildren and son-in-law Danny sing. For her, going to "Gigs", concerts and plays filled her with the most joy! Her legacy was her greatest possession.
She was a lifetime member of The Ohio Bowhunters Association and lifetime member and founder of Apache Bowhunters. These organizations were a passion she held through the end of her life. Wilma and Alvin made sure to teach their children and grandchildren the love of the outdoors and to respect all things that God made.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th, 2019 at 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel with a service immediately following also at the funeral home.
Burial will follow on Monday, December 30th, 2019 at 9:30am at Franklin Hills Cemetery, Canal Winchester, OH.
