Yvonne Corlette Dean

Yvonne Corlette Dean, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on February 25, 1952, at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, Yvonne's life was marked by her unwavering love for her family.

Her love for family was the cornerstone of her existence. She was a devoted wife to David for 53 years. Yvonne was a caring mother to her daughters, Kristina (Eric) Howell and Michelle (Arthur) Watts, ensuring that her children knew they were cherished beyond measure. The joy of her life multiplied with her grandchildren, Caden (Sommer), Montgomery, Octavia, and Cai, alongside Chad (Tammi) Blount and children, Hannah (AJ), Ava, Jenna, Tatum, and McKenna, whose happiness filled her heart.

Yvonne possessed a unique talent for making everyone feel special and included, evident in her thoughtful traditions. Every Christmas, Yvonne ensured each family member had a unique stocking and a reindeer ornament adorning the tree— and her belief in making memories that would last. Her home was where family gatherings were celebrated with too much food and joyful noise.

Yvonne loved gardening, feeding the birds, and singing loud praises to Jesus in the church choir. She found deep joy in taking family on special outings and exploring pumpkin patches. She enjoyed sewing and crafting, and her home was brightened with flowers, cardinals and other birds fluttering about.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her loving parents, Howard and Cora Lee (Melton) Adams, who instilled in her a foundation of goodness and compassion. She leaves behind not only her immediate family but also a large circle of nieces, nephews, and extended family who will miss her deeply and carry her memory in their hearts.

In celebration of Yvonne's incredible life, visitation will be held on February 26, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest in Grove City, Ohio. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM, with interment taking place at Concord Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
