Dorothy Ellen (Snow) Bails, age 82, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, formerly of Pemberville,Luckey and Mt. Vernon, joined the Lord on September 26, 2012 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Danville, Ohio, daughter of the late Clarence and Leona (Hissong) Snow. Dorothy, a 1947 graduate of Danville High School, was a homemaker and hospital secretary. A gifted singer and pianist, she participated in many musicals and cantatas. She was church organist and pianist at Wayne Church of Christ prior to moving to central Ohio.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, William Bails, and sister, Jo-Anne Tanner. She is survived by brother Jack (Jean) Snow, sisters, Joyce (David) Swihart, Betty Sue (David) Willits, all of Mount Vernon, Ohio, Janet (Joe) Talley of Ashland, Kentucky, sons Daniel (Eleanor) Bails, of Reynoldsburg, David (Judy Sexton) of Indian Rocks Beach, Florida, grandchildren, Breena, Jonathan and Natalie Bails and Brandon Black, great-granddaughter, Brynlee Jacobs, special neighbors, Joyce and Howard Green, and many other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m., on October 1 at the Central Christian Church in Mount Vernon where the funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., with Pastor Ken Springer officiating. A private interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Columbus will be held on October 2, 2012, with Pastor Paul Barnes of Madison Christian Church officiating. Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH is honored to serve the Bails Family.
